These are Skys that appear within the Vs Sky Soft Returns mod, formerly known as simply Vs Sky Soft, which is a fan made mod on the popular Friday Night Funkin' mod au Friday Night Funkin': Soft. Vs Sky Soft Returns follows Soft Sky (A version of Mod!Sky meeting with Soft’s version of Boyfriend named Benjamin, as well as a couple other misadventures with other Sky’s.

Soft Sky is a version of Mod!Sky that fanonly exists in the Friday Night Funkin' mod au Friday Night Funkin': Soft, which is a mod that focuses on story mostly, but also changes the design of the cast to be more "soft" in appearance. She was created by xiyvtrangs (Formerly known as Loowisse_tr[1]) and appears in her own mod Vs Sky Soft Returns, which helped the character to be more well known. Soft Sky does not have a crush on Benjamin (Soft Boyfriend) and instead just wants to be friends with him, which was uncommon for an AU of Sky to be that way at the time.
Appearance
Normal
Soft Sky has light blue hair tied into a lower ponytail and light lavender eyes. She wears two lavender bows (one of which ties her ponytail) and a lavender hoodie over a white turtleneck sweater. She wears a light blue skirt and long white socks with lavender leg warmers and purple-ish shoes. She also has a bandage (although this is only seen on her reference sheet) on her cheek and an eye patch on one of her eyes. It is currently unknown what is under her eyepatch.
Manifest
In her manifest form, she has long (presumably black) claws. She also has red eyes. Her hair seems to be longer, but that could be accidental. Her socks, leg warmers, and shoes seem to be missing, but this could just be a result of the simpler style of the manifest form in her reference sheet.
Personality
Soft Sky is a kind hearted girl, who only wishes for Boyfriend to be his friend, however her reference sheet does say "don’t like BF anymore", possibly implying she once did have feelings, however that has never been confirmed, and could just be saying that unlike to Mod!Sky, she doesn’t have any feelings. She also seems to be uncomfortable with anyone asking about her eye, as said by the reference sheet.
Biography/Story
It could be assumed that a long time ago something happened to her eye. Whatever that event was is completely unknown, just that she doesn’t like talking about it, likely being something traumatic for her.
During the events of her mod Soft Sky excitedly meets Benjamin, who has been separated from his boyfriend Pico. Benjamin is confused who Sky is, to which Sky introduces herself. Sky wonders why he looks so upset, Benjamin saying it’s nothing. Sky decides to cheer Benjamin up, by singing a song, with him. Benjamin is unsure, however Sky reassures to Benjamin that it’ll be fun. Once the song is over Benjamin actually seems to be having a little fun. Benjamin asks how Sky knows him, which Sky says is due to the missing posters around town. Benjamin becomes nervous again, unsure if he can trust Sky, likely thinking she might be trying to take him back to his parents. Sky tries to tell him that she wouldn’t do that, however it doesn’t work. Sky offers another song, to win over his trust. Once it’s over Benjamin finally starts to warm up to Sky and asks to sing a final song, with her, he had sung together with a friend, some time ago, with this time "things ends good". Sky happily agrees but asks "who is the guy with green clothes behind you". Pico has finally returned, which puts Benjamin fully at ease. Benjamin asks what took him so long, which Pico replies something from his past. Pico says to hurry with this last song as Benjamin’s parents have found them yet again. Once the song is over the two assumably leave the scene, Benjamin being on good terms with Sky.
Five months later Benjamin and Sky meet again crossing paths, while Benjamin and Pico were heading home and Sky was going to a friends (Assumbly Grace) place. Sky remarks that it’s been awhile since the two have seen each other. The three chat, Pico having a hard time talking to Sky. Sky asks if Benjamin would mind another song, which Benjamin agrees to, seeing as they still have time, during the song the two decide to be friends.
Powers/Abilities
The Manifest Form
Not much is known about Soft Sky’s Manifest form, it’s unkown how different her abilities with it are, compared to the original Mod!Sky.

Soft Ski
Soft Ski is a version of Ski that fanonly exists in the Friday Night Funkin' mod au Friday Night Funkin': Soft, which is a mod that focuses on story mostly, but also changes the design of the cast to be more "soft" in appearance. She is believed to be created by Vs Sky Soft Returns team (Which specific member is unknown) and appears in the mod Vs Sky Soft Returns, where she appears in her own week.
Appearance
She looks like the original Ski, however wears Soft Sky’s outfit, however sometimes she takes off her eyepatch, revealing she isn’t missing a eye. Her hair also appears to be somewhat "softer".
Personality
Not much is known about the differences of Soft Ski’s personality, she seems to act similarly to the original Ski.
Trivia
- Unlike Soft Sky, Soft Ski doesn’t actually need to wear a eye patch, as it’s seen her eyes perfectly ok.
